SANDRA SPENCER age 70 of Nunda, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday May 3, 2025 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville.  She was born the daughter of Robert and Barbara (Wilkins) Gath on December 7, 1954 in Warsaw NY.

Sandy worked as a caregiver at the Nunda nursing home for several years, demonstrating her dedication to caring for others. As a member of the Red Hats Society, Sandy engaged in various community activities. Her grandchildren were her greatest source of joy, and she made every effort to attend their various events. Sandy valued family time, often playing cards with her loved ones during gatherings. Her hobbies included reading, scrapbooking, and volunteering at the Lawson house. Sandy's leadership skills were evident in her role as a Girl Scout leader, a position she held for over 20 years. She will be deeply missed by many in her community.

She is pre deceased by her father Robert Gath, sister Dawn Duryea, and brother Roy Gath.

She is survived by her Mother Barbara Gath of Nunda. Her daughters Barbie (Chris) Doran of Perry, Breanna Yaw (Duane) of Nunda. Sandy had 6 grandchildren and 2 step. Tyler (Mandie) Young, Tanya (Chris) Wilson, Erica Morgan (Jonathan), Ryan Morgan (Andrea), Dalton Gibson, Gracie Gibson, Austin Doran (Emma), Ethan Doran. 2 great Grandchildren Barrett Young, Amelia Wilson. 3 Brothers Robert (Diane) Gath of Nunda, Floyd (Lucy) Gath of Nunda, Mark (Debbie) Gath of Nunda. Several nieces and nephews.

No prior calling hours. Funeral will be held on May 16th @ 11:00 at the Oakland Wesleyan Church. Private interment at Oakland Cemetery in Nunda, NY.
