SANTA V. CASCIO age 104 of Mount Morris, NY, died Friday May 13, 2022 at her home.   She was born the daughter of Gondolf and Concetta (Inguaggiato) Valenza on March 29, 1918 in Sicily, Italy.  She married Joseph Cascio on October 1952.  She and her husband moved to Mount Morris from Sicily in 1953.  Prior to her retirement she worked as a seamstress at the Perry Knitting Mill in Mt. Morris and Champion Products in Perry and Geneseo for over 25 years.  She had also worked at the Livingston County CNR in Mt. Morris in the activities department and as an interpreter.  She was a member of St. Patrick's Church.  Her hobbies included sewing, knitting, cooking and gardening.

She is survived by her 2 daughters Josephine Maldonado of Mt. Morris and Concetta Finley of Rochester.  Sister Giovanna Turchio of Sicily.  Nieces, nephews and many dear and loving friends and caregivers.  She was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1984.

Friends may call Thursday from 4- 6 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris.  Funeral Mass will be held Friday at 9:30 am at St. Patrick's Church in Mount Morris.  Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to either St. Jude's Children's Hospital or St. Patrick's Cemetery.  Sign the online registry at:
