SEYMOUR G. "CY" LINSNER SR. age 91 of Groveland, NY, died Saturday December 13, 2014 at the Conesus Lake Nursing Home in Livonia, NY. He was born on October 29, 1923 in Groveland, NY the son of Samuel and Selena (Burns) Linsner. He was a lifelong resident of Groveland. He married Phyllis Kornbau on December 21, 1946. Prior to his retirement in 1985 he was employed as a Machinist at Foster Wheeler Corporation in Dansville for over 35 years. He had also worked for the town of Groveland. He was a member of the Local Machinist Union.

He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 68 years Phyllis. 6 Children Linda (Frank) Shea of Groveland, Seymour "Skip" (Martha) Linsner Jr. of Mt. Morris, Theodore (Linda) Linsner of Groveland, Donald (Becky) Linsner of Dansville, John (Loretta) Linsner and Karen (Tim) Clymo both of Groveland. 11 Grandchildren and 17 Great grandchildren. 3 Sisters Eunice (Irving) Buchanan of PA, Joan Magee of Groveland and Peggy Stanley of Dansville. Many Nieces and Nephews. He was predeceased by 2 granddaughters Kim & Connie, 3 Great Grandsons Alex, Bradley and Mason, 3 sisters Nellie Richmond, Leona Lynn & Frances Linsner, 8 brothers Harold, Walter, Melvin, Theodore, James, Warren, Frederick & Larry.

Friends may call Friday from 3 to 7 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris, where funeral services will be held Friday at 7pm. Interment Lakeview Cemetery.
