SHIRLEY A. EDDY age 74 of Mount Morris, New York died Monday December 10, 2018 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. She was born the daughter of Dorr "Farmer" and Emily (Babcock) Gates on November 27, 1944 in Dansville, NY.

She is survived by survived by 5 Children Lisa (Nate Piedmonte) Halbert, Jean (Jr.) Slack and Susan (Tommy Clevenger) King all of Mt. Morris, Hugh (Maria Finch) Eddy Jr. of Wayland and Jonathan Eddy of Cohocton. 17 Grandchildren and many Great Grandchildren. 2 Sisters Alice (David Applin) Button of Dansville and Doreen Bigley of Arkport and Brother David (Kathy) Gates of Pennsylvania. Many Nieces, nephews and her partner Jansen Gilman of Mt. Morris. She was predeceased by her husband Hugh Eddy Sr. in 2010.

Friends may call Thursday from 4 - 7 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris. Graveside Services will be held Friday at 11 am at Greenmount Cemetery, Dansville, NY. In lieu of flowers. Memorials may be to made to the family. Sign the online registry at
