SHIRLEY K. (STALEY) MONGILLO age 85 of Chapel Street, Mount Morris, died suddenly Monday April 5, 2021 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville, NY.  She was born the daughter of Arthur E. and Ruth E. (Johnson) Staley on October 30, 1935 in Nunda, NY.  She married Jack B. Mongillo on January 5, 1957.  Prior to her retirement in 1999 she was employed as a purchasing agent at the BOCES (Charles G. May Education Center) in Mount Morris for over 10 years and had work at Dr. C.T. Andolina's office as a medical Secretary for 14 years.  She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, former Girl Scout Leader, volunteered at the Livingston County CNR for mass services.  Shirley enjoyed reading, traveling, camping with her Girls, Skiing and spending with her family.

She is survived by her devoted husband of over 64 years Jack.  5 daughters Kathleen J. Mongillo of Clayton, Jacquelyn L. Mongillo of Nunda, Deborah D. Mongillo of Reno, NV, Alicia L. Mongillo of Rochester and Elizabeth (Paul) E. Souser of Gulfport, MS and 6 Grandchildren Nicholas, Giacomo, Gabriel, Alex, Stephen and MaryKay.  Sister Yvonne Paul of Macedon.  Many nieces, nephews and dear and loving friends.  She was predeceased by her granddaughter Jacquelyn R. Souser in 1999, 2 brothers Robert Staley in 2006 and James Staley in 1972.

No prior calling.  Funeral Mass will be held Friday at 10 am at St. Patrick's Church in Mount Morris.  Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers.  Memorials may be made to one's favorite charity.  Arrangements by the JOHN W.
