SIDNEY M. HOPEWELL age 94 of 44 Greenbrair Drive, Rochester formerly of East Avon, died Sunday May 14, 2017 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York. He was born the son of Leonard and Ethel (Mason) Hopewell on September 19, 1922 in New York, New York. He had attended the Kysorville Church in West Sparta.


He is survived by nephew Paul Hopewell and the residents and Staff at Greenbrair IRA, Perry ICF and Avon IRA. He was predeceased by his parents Leonard and Ethel.


Friends may call Friday May 19 from 10-12 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris where funeral services will be held Friday at 12 pm.
