SUZANNE WILLIAMS age 84 of Rochester, New York, died Friday January 20, 2023 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mount Morris, NY.   She was born the daughter of Roger and Ruth Helen (Leavens) Williams on September 18, 1938 in Rochester, New York.  She earned degrees from both the University of Rochester in 1970 and Long Island University in 1979. Prior to her retirement she had worked as a social worker in Rochester and then worked for the Democrat and Chronicle in Rochester.

She is survived by her sister Marilyn Lattierre and several nieces and nephews including Leslie Sachs, Matthew Ambrose, Michelle Harland, Luke Ambrose, Mark Ambrose, Robin Krosecky, Lynda Bertolone, Tracy Arenas, Herb Sedler,  Jennifer Rose and Roger Lattierre.  Many dear and loving friends including Robert DeRycke of Rochester and Marie Czerniowski.  She was predeceased by her parents Roger Williams and Ruth (Leavens) (Williams) Haka and her sisters Sharon Ambrose and Myrna Sedler.

No prior calling.  Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday February 18, 2023 at 11 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 150 Varinna Drive, Rochester, NY 14618. . Burial will be Wednesday June 14, 2023 at 11 AM at Oakwood Cemetery, Syracuse, NY in Section C, Lot 76. Memorials may be made to the Livingston County CNR, Activities Fund, 11 Murray Hill Drive, Mount Morris NY 14510.  Arrangements by the JOHN W.
