THOMAS J. BELLANCA SR. age 76 of Shay road, Ossian, NY, died Monday October 8, 2018 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was born the son of George and Anna (Granita) Bellanca Sr. on October 24, 1941 in Mount Morris, NY. He was a veteran of the Army from 1964 to 66 during the Vietnam War. Prior to his retirement he was a member for over 35 years of the Rochester Laborers Union #435 having worked for LaChase Construction. He also was a part time police officer for the Mount Morris Police Department. He was a member of the Mt. Morris Police Benevolent Association.


He is survived by his son Thomas J. Bellanca Jr. of Dansville. Brother George (Joan) Bellanca Jr. of Perry and sister Catherine (Edward) Donohue of Groveland. Nieces and Nephews. Predeceased by his wife Linda.


Friends may call Friday from 4 - 7 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris where funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11 am.
