V. JAMES "Jim" BUGMAN age 83 of Dalton, New York, died Friday May 5, 2023 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mount Morris, NY.  He was born the son of Harold and Ida (McGuire) Bugman on April 19, 1940 in Nunda, NY.  He served in the Army during the Vietnam War from 1965 to 1967.  He was a partner in Bugman and Son's in Dalton for over 60 years and he also owned and operated the Colton Hill Farm for nearly 30 years.  He was a member of the Canaseraga American Legion and the Ponderosa Club.

He is survived by his wife Sandy Bugman, 8 children, Shannon Bugman of Florida, Shelly (Darrell) Bugman-Zadar of Florida, Benjamin (Melissa) Wilkins of Nunda, Curt Bugman of South Carolina, Jill (Jason) Burley of Dalton, Glenn Bugman and Chad Bugman both of Nunda and Kory (Ashley) Bugman of Warsaw.  22 Grandchildren.  Brother Dennis Bugman of Dalton and Sister Denise Geny of Oregon.  Many nieces, nephews and loving friends.  He was predeceased by his brother Dana and sister Dolores.

Friends may call Wednesday May 10 from 4-7 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris.  A life celebration service will be held on Thursday May 11 at 11 am Woodlynn Hills Golf Course, Route 408, Nunda, NY.  Reverend Ron Duttweiler Officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  Sign the online registry at
