VICENTE CRUZ "Joe" "Vince" SOTO age 78 of 5753 Upper Mt. Morris Road, Mount Morris, New York, died Sunday July 23, 2017 at the Palliative Care Unit at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was born the son of Hilario Cruz Rodriguez and Eulalia Soto Monclova on July 19, 1939. He married Alice Buck on August 27, 1965. Prior to his retirement he was employed at Akzo Salt Mine in Retsof for over 18 years and having also worked at Foster Wheeler in Dansville for over 15 years. He attended the Village Baptist Church in Mount Morris, was a member of the Living Stream Hose Company of the Mount Morris Fire Department since 1995. Former member of Mt. Morris Lions Club. He loved working especially in his vegetable, fruit and flower gardens. He always looked forward to Monday and Tuesday night to watching the WWE.


He is survived by his Children Leslie (Scott) Mosman, Terry (Lorri) Soto Sr. and Vincent Soto. Many Grandchildren and Great grandchildren. 8 Brothers & 4 Sisters. Many nieces, nephews and dear and loving friends. Predeceased by his wife Alice B. Soto on Jan. 15, 2013 and brother Steve Soto on July 17, 2017 and his parents Hilario Cruz Rodriguez and Eulalia Soto Monclova. A special Thank you to the staff from Lifetime Care and the Palliative Care Unit at Strong Memorial Hospital.

Friends may call Wednesday from 4 - 7 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris where Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 11 am.
