VICTOR L. DE FRANCO age 89 of 5 Glen Morris Avenue, Mount Morris, NY, died Sunday May 19, 2013 at the Livingston County Center of Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mount Morris, NY. He was born the son of Frank and Grace (DiSalvo) DeFranco on March 30, 1924 in Mount Morris, NY. Prior to his retirement in 1977 he was employed as a Mechanic at Craig Developmental Center in Sonyea for over 37 years. He was a veteran of the Navy from 1941 to 1945. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church, CSEA, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion Post of Mount Morris.

He is survived by his daughter Grace (Ken) Losey of Mount Morris. 3 Grandchildren Dawn C. Losey, Kenneth (Lisa) Losey and Karriann (Tim) Edwards. 5 Great Grandchildren Steven (Brandie) Piraino, Alexis Losey, Dustin McLean, Brandon Edward and Chase Losey. 2 Great-Great Grandchildren Alivia Piraino and Addyson Barnhardt. 2 Step sisters Fannie Blair and Angie Pusateri. Nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Carrie in 1999, brother Joseph DeFranco and Sister Mary Grace Rizzo.

Friends may call Wednesday from 4-7 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris where prayers will be said Thursday at 9am followed by a funeral mass at 9:30 am at St. Patrick's Church.
