WALTER TRUAX JR. age 72 of 5283 Upper Mount Morris Road, Leicester, NY, formerly of Mount Morris, died peacefully Friday January 23, 2015 at his home. He was born the son of Walter and Mary (Lubanski) Truax Sr. on March 4,1942 in Dansville, New York. He married Valerie Zaso on June 9, 1962. Prior to his retirement in 1997 he was employed as a mechanic at the Livingston County Campus in Mount Morris for nearly 30 years. He was a member of the Dansville Moose Lodge for nearly 50 years and St. Patrick's Church in Mount Morris.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Valerie. 4 sons Brian (Suzanne), Jeffrey (Patty), David (Lisa) and Kevin (Crystal). 9 Grandchildren Nick, Marissa, Amanda, Tawnya, Josh, David, Daniel, Lindsey and Jacob. 3 Great Grandchildren Dominick, Jayla and Vinny. Sister Betty (Howard) Owens, brother Joe (Pearl) Runfola. Predeceased by his brothers Steve and Danny Runfola.
